JEE Main 2021 Exam Analysis (February 26): BE/B.Tech Day 3, Shift 1

NEW DELHI: The final paper of JEE Main 2021 February session is being held today i.e. February 26, 2021. The JEE Main 2021 exam started on February 23 with BArch and B.Planning papers and will be concluded today with BE/B.Tech paper. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2021 examination in two shifts in view of Covid-19 safety guidelines. This year, over 6 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main 2021 examination. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2021 BE/B.Tech papers in previous two days said that the paper was easier as compared to last year’s paper.

JEE Main 2021 Paper-I: February 26, Shift 1

JEE aspirants were asked to reach exam centre at 7.00 am. Students were allowed to carry only the ball point Pen, Admit Card, ID Card, water bottle and small sanitizer bottle. Every student was made to go through a sanitizing station where they had to sanitize themselves through a foot press lever. Students were not allowed to carry their personal masks. Every student was given a fresh surgical mask at entry gate. Entry to exam centre closed at 8.30 am. The exam commenced at 9.00 am and concluded at 12.00 pm.

JEE Main Exam Paper Analysis: February 26, 2021

As per the immediate reactions from students, today’s JEE Main BE/BTech exam paper was overall balanced. Most of the questions asked in the exam were from chapters of CBSE textbooks. Questions covered almost all chapters of CBSE Class 11 and Class 12 textbooks. Maths section had lengthy questions but they were of moderate difficulty level. Questions in Physics section were easy to moderate difficulty level while most of the students find Chemistry section easiest of three. Overall, this paper was of Moderate level as per students. However, some students said today’s paper was tougher as compared to papers held on the previous two days.
