Karnataka II PUC exam 2021 cancelled, SSLC exam to be held in July

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka government said on Friday that it has decided to cancel II PUC (class 12) examination due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the country. All students will be promoted based on their performance in the I PUC examinations.

The Karnataka education board is considering conducting II PUC examination for the students who are not satisfied with their grades. “If any student is not satisfied with these assessments, the department is considering holding exams only for them after the Covid situation improves,” the government said in a press conference.

Meanwhile, the government will go ahead with SSLC examination and it will be held in July third week. Students will have to attempt two examinations – multiple choice question paper format. One examination will be for core subjects and another examination will be conducted for languages.
