The term “landlocked” means a landmass which does not share any border with any large water body or ocean.

Though India is blessed with the coastline of 7516.6 km, there are some Indian states which do not have any direct access to the ocean. These Indian states are either sandwiched between two or more other Indian states or other Asian countries.
