NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) said on Wednesday that it has decided to postpone Madhya Pradesh State Services preliminary examination 2020 due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the state. The MP state service examination 2020 was scheduled to be held on June 20 but has now been postponed to July 25.

“Considering the present situation of the pandemic and in the interest of candidates’ health, the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has decided to postpone the preliminary examination,” the commission said in a notice issued on its website.

The exam, which was scheduled to be held on June 20, has now been postponed to July 25, the official said. According to the notice, as many as 3.40 lakh candidates have submitted their applications to appear for the State Services prelims, it was stated. Along with the state services exam, the commission has also put off the forest service exam.
