TSIC, KSPP ink pact to create social innovation ecosystem in Telangana

HYDERABAD: Kautilya School of Public Policy (KSPP), that is affiliated to the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), on Tuesday said it has signed an MoU with the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC), to work towards creating a social innovation ecosystem in the state.

The MoU was signed by Ravi Narayan, chief innovation officer, Telangana, Prof D Gunasekaran, registrar of GITAM, and Sridhar Pabbisetty, founding director of KSPP.

KSPP will be the research partner for TSIC and will make recommendations to enable a conducive administrative and regulatory environment for social innovation to flourish in the state.

Commenting on the partnership, Telangana IT and industries principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, “We are delighted with this long-term collaboration with KSPP. We will now be able to use lessons from social innovation pilots that we will roll out together to influence larger policy matters in the right direction.”
